Dream recall: what science says

Dream recall frequency varies enormously. Some remember dreams every morning; others believe they never dream. (They do — everyone dreams 3-6 times per night during REM sleep.)

Score interpretation

  • 10-18: Low recall — you rarely remember dreams (very common)
  • 19-28: Average — occasional dream memories
  • 29-38: High recall — you remember dreams most mornings
  • 39-50: Exceptional — vivid, frequent dream life
